As a part of our second year studies in 2014/2015 at Savonia we were assigned to create a collection for S/S 2016 with the theme Past Modern with finnish influence. I turned to the 1920's and Art Deco for inspiration. The idea behind my collection is that it could be found from you grandmothers attic in a suitcase having pieces hand made at home as well as some sparkly presents from their relatives living in Paris.

My collection has 15 pieces which are separated to showstopper, casual and fancy of which I prodused three. I wanted the collection to be modern but have a clear influence of the 1920's. All the prints used in the clothes are designed by me. In addition to the clothes we were to design brand labels, invitation, businesscard etc. and a lookbook for our collections.
