This 1920's inspired flapper dress was made for a customer as my final school project while studying at Omnia Adult education centre. My customer gave me a picture which I used as a reference in my designs. She was very fond of the yellow dress on the right side of the picture. I followed the illustration as much as possible but suggested plasing the knot on the side instead of it being in the centre.

 

This was a very pleasing project for me since I love the 1920's fashion and Art Deco as well as bead embroidery. The ensemble consists of two pieces, a slip made of silk/ elastine mix and a dress made of 100% silk.
