I'm a designer and a maker with a weird passion for running errands, making excel charts and arrangeging things. I'm living in Turku, Finland, recently graduated from Savonia University of Applied Sciences. Previously I have gotten myself two degrees in dressmaking, one of which concentrated on making costumes for performing arts.

 

I'm fascinated by creating and designing costumes for different productions. I get inspired by the problem solving that it requires and the part it plays in the storytelling. One needs to be able to support the directors vision as well as the actors/dancers/singers performance. I like both freedom and boundaries while working. Often having restrictions makes me more creative, they force me to question mine and look for different solutions. Then again having complete freedom can in different situations have a similar effect. I get great satisfaction when I see that my work serves its purpose and I have learned something new.
